I have been designing lights for the stage ever since my parents build me a puppet theater for Christmas when I was nine years old. I did my first Broadway load in as soon as I could legally work. By the time I graduated high school, I’d been in the tech booth for more concerts than most people would see in their entire lives.
College was majoring in Dramatic Arts, not shock there. An incredible experience that reaffirmed my love for all things technical theater.
Moving to Greenville, SC in 2013, I have found steady opportunities to work as a technician, designer, carpenter, electrician, and all manor of theater odd jobs in between. Just don’t ask me to work wardrobe please. My wife has that covered.
2025 marks nineteen years of feeding my soul with work that I love, and I find myself growing only more dedicated to the craft with each passing year.
